Dominos is the first tenant in The Wesley, a new shopping center on West Lee Drive that is set to open next month.

The pizza chain will take up about 1,750 square feet in the center at 1072 W. Lee Drive, said Grey Hammett III, of Mike Falgoust and Associates Commercial Real Estate. Hammett and Andrew Littlefield are handling leasing for the 7,500-square-foot center, which will share a driveway with Caliente Mexican Craving Restaurant.

Hammett said the new Dominos will have a drive-through window and an area where customers can sit to eat pizza. “It’s more of a restaurant concept,” he said.

While Dominos will anchor the center, Hammett said there’s room for another tenant to lease space with a drive-through window.

The Wesley is an infill development that will cater to LSU students and young professionals, who have been drawn to apartment developments that have opened south of LSU in the past few years, Hammett said.
