Site Bought for More Premier Lanes Parking

A 1.6-acre site next to the Premier Lanes bowling and family entertainment center in Broussard has been sold for $533,501.

Rickey Bourgeois, vice president of Malco Theaters, which operates Premier Lanes, said he purchased the land to provide additional parking and green space around the $8 million bowling alley, set to open in November 2016. “This gives us more flexibility,” he said.

The Premier Lanes site, located off U.S. 90 East near Alberston Parkway, is now about 5 acres, Bourgeois said. The 46,000-square-foot facility will include bowling lanes, indoor bumper cars, a game room, laser maze and a kitchen.

Grey Hammett, with Mike Falgoust & Associates Commercial Real Estate, represented Premier Lanes, while Grey Hammett III, also with Falgoust & Associates, represented the seller, Lafourche Hospitality LLC.

Malco Theatres, a fourth-generation family company based out of Memphis, Tennessee, operates Premier Lanes in Gonzales and Acadiana Lanes in Lafayette, which will also be upgraded to a Premier Lanes in 2016.
